I’m trying to understand who we’re technically buying undervalued cryptocurrencies from when we make a purchase. Say you research a particular coin and find out that it’s currently undervalued. You then proceed to buy a substantial amount of this coin. But who exactly are you buying it from? Is it from people that have sold the currency too low or from the crypto exchange?

Also, when we buy these undervalued cryptocurrencies, are we exploiting someone’s lack of knowledge to profit from? I’m trying to discern whether there’s a moral or ethical implication to buying undervalued crypto. Is this practice any different than finding an undervalued stock in the stock market and purchasing it? I’m new to cryptocurrency and would appreciate any insights.
