I’ve been using Coinbase as my primary platform for buying and trading cryptocurrencies and I’ve found it very user-friendly for beginners like me. Recently, someone asked me if it’s possible to withdraw the cryptocurrency from Coinbase to another wallet. I wasn’t sure how to answer because I usually keep my crypto inside the platform. So, how does it work? Can you move the cryptocurrency you own on Coinbase to another wallet? If so, what are the steps involved? Yes, you can withdraw cryptocurrency from Coinbase to another wallet. To start the process, log in to your Coinbase account first. Then click on ‘Portfolio’ at the top of the page. Now, pick the type of cryptocurrency you want to send from your list of assets. Then click ‘Send’ on the right side of page. Now in the ‘Recipient’ field, enter the address of the external wallet you want to send your cryptocurrency to. Next, put in the amount of cryptocurrency you wish to send. Do review the details, especially the recipient’s address and amount to be sent to make sure everything is correct. After reviewing press ‘Send now’. You’ll be asked to enter your two-step verification code if you have it set up, and once that’s done your transaction will be processed. Do remember, every cryptocurrency has a network fee when you send it, and the amount can vary depending on the cryptocurrency. Additionally, there’s also a minimum amount you can send for different cryptocurrencies, so please be aware of that as well.
